Medium Voltage Air insulated RMU
P-RAL is a metal-enclosed Air Type Ring main unit that is factory produced
and utilised in load switching for medium voltage applications (12KV & 24KV).
It is put together in SOLA factories using EL-Sewedy Sai Load break switches. NAL/NALF
With a distinctive form and a modular foundation that provides a wide
range of capabilities, RAL Air Type Ring main units are an appealing option
for breaking applications in indoor enclosed switchgear.
Additionally, SOLA o ers an extra enclosure for use with these ring main
units outside.
Medium Voltage SF6 Insulated RMU
A metal-enclosed set of switchgear called P-Sec is put together in SOLA
factories using EL-Sewedy Sai technology and parts.
For MV distribution systems (12KV & 24KV), P-Sec is used as an air-insulated
Ring main unit with LBS using SF6 technology for arc interruption at the load
connection locations.
P-Sec can be equipped with motorised load break switches that enable
remote control operation and allow for the signaling of auxiliary contacts
from distant locations.
With modern feeder automation devices (PLC/RTU) in conjunction with
other devices, SOLA also offers P-Sec for smart grids, providing data for remote control centers.
